This Criterion S-1-1/2 Boring Head with 5/8 Straight Shank is used and in Very Good Condition. It features a 1-1/2 OD Sq. Body, a 1/2" Round ID Hole for Boring Bars and a 5/8" x 2-1/4 Round Shank.

It also features a calibrated 0-30 adjustment wheel between the shank and boring head. We believe that this is used to adjust the lead angle of the cutting tool, but we are not sure.

This attachment has a set screw on its bottom side to lock it in place, 0-30 calibrated hash marks around 1-13/16 of the circumference and 2 holes on opposite sides to put a pin in for adjustment. It appears to be in Very Good physical and operational condition. There is a previous owner's ID number engraved on the side of the body. It has a 7/8"- 20 female mounting thread, a 9/16" adjustable offset and the height of the head is 2-1/4. Produces extremely accurate holes in heavy roughing cuts on turrets or fine finishing work on mills and jig borers Features a direct reading dial screw All bar holder bearing surfaces are ground after hardening to provide long life and trouble-free operation MADE IN USA.
