7 PC BORING BAR SET (18MM SHANK) WITH 7 WIDIA CARBIDE INSERTS HARD/TEMPERED /GROUND TOOL. You get 7 pcs of boring bars with shank dia 18mm(this means these bars will fit any boring head which has hole of 18mm) and 7 carbide inserts from Widia which will give you very good surface finish on 4140/1045 and mild steel. No need of using traditional brazed carbide and waste time in grinding and doing work slowly, go with the next generation of tools, these bars take CCMT 06(for small bars) and CCMT 09(for bigger bars) which have 2 cutting edges. So even if you have a 3 boring head still you can do small bores, the bars are hard, tempered and ground and are machined on 5 axis machining centres for maximum accuracy. Spl drawn allow steel is used which gives it high tensile strength, they are tempered in house in a special Waspman furnace for Spain which gives the grain structure of bars uniformity as a result they do not chatter and give a good surface finish.
